I like to read/write/work creatively in Lovecraftian horror (or weird fiction, a better title.)

I'm thinking of making a small series dedicated to Lovecraft starting with The Festival. This recording doesn't have any post processing or noise control, but I'm wondering if at least the baseline quality or vocal ability is enough to pursue an audio series. Let me know what you think!

I didn't feel like listening to it because I'm lazy but I realized I need to be less selfish and so I did.

And I liked it :D

You remind me of Snape from HP.

It's pretty good. I think I said this before but it really reminds me of the narration done for Daniel's diary in Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

Here's this if you want to listen to compare it to. I think your vocaroo could potentially benefit from some background music.

(Massive spoilers for the whole game obviously)

100%. This was just a test of raw mic quality. When I record the whole series it'll have ambience, post production and a noise filter. And recorded in a better environment than just my room.

Sounds good to me; definitely works for a horror story.

Sounds great to me!

You know, you can charge people like $5 to read random things. Already I'm like, "here, read this and that!"

You'll do well, kid

Yeah I feel like you can narrate the chapters of CRPGs like Baldurs Gate and Planescape Torment. Guess it depends on the book yknow?

You guys are awesome. I'll definitely post the finished results for the first story on CE as a test run.
