I agree. It seems like any horror movie that gets hyped up turns out to be boring arthouse garbage.

Is it a typical horror movie from this era? Slow burner with random creepy moments that ultimately leads to nothing which Shockingly Has a violent last 5 minutes where everybody dies and no lessons learned

The movie makes no sense until you look up how its the director making a metaphor for alzhiemers.....

i mean, it wasnt terrible...but i remember the first mimic movie came out roughly the same time and it was slightly better
