I text back it looks like a mantis and not to kill it because they're chill. She goes well I already Raided it but it didn't do anything. And I'm like oh well that'll most likely kill it soon, that's a shame. And she texted back it's dying now. Poor fella never stood a chance. If I wasn't working today she would have asked me to get rid of it and I could have just put it on a tree outside. Dang, something about bigger bugs makes me way sadder when they die (except crickets, which this guy probably would have been chowing on if he stayed in our house)

that sucks. mantis (manti?) are good for gardens. they eat other bugs that would otherwise eat your plants and leave your plants alone.

but they also eat pollinators.. so..
