Maybe I just don't like GTA anymore but they're just not fun past the ps2 era. 4 and 5 are terrible, control terribly, and I dislike the need for the interface to look ultra realism it's annoying.

I enjoyed it back on the PS3 but trying to replay it is just... Meh. I don't much like the characters, writing, or plot in it and it really drags the whole thing down for me.

Also the heists were super disappointing

4 and 5 control soooo much better than the PS2 era games so maybe it's the nostalgia talking

Most of the fun of the old games for me was using cheats and going on insane rampages.

That's why my copy of gta 5 was used once 5 years ago and has been collecting dust ever since... but I bought saints row 3 remastered day one.

Gta is made to be an awesome game in terms of mechanics. They are satisfying...to a point.

But the game itself is not that fun to play. The developers should be ashamed of themselves. Making the game unintentionally satisfying to sell shark cards.
