Grew up King's Quest 4, went back to play the first three and then all others going forward..this was back before FAQs/message boards/etc, so you really had no solutions to puzzles unless a friend knew or you bought a guide book
Played the Space Quest series too, but was probably a bit young to understand some of the humor ... Copied to Clipboard!

Space Quest, Quest for Glory, Gold Rush, Police Quest, etc were all flagships/highly critically reviewed..
