If I report fable, will you mod him, tc?

Also like 3 people here are old enough to even remember the original, you cretaceous fossil.

It's a little old-fashioned, but damn, it has some fun characters and adventures. GOG's definitely given it out free at some point in the past, so that's how many probably experienced it (in a legit way).

Abit similar to latter Sierra adventure games if that helps.. most things are puzzles you can take your time solving, but there are a few time based scenes you have to navigate the character through without dying. Also, despite being post apocalyptic, it has a LOT of humor

That's how I know of it. Gave me an appreciation for old craftsmanship and new interface. And the ending really was quite brilliant.

wished they had updated the visuals to the original which is even free on gog.

i wanna give it a go but the dated visuals even by P&C standards have kept me away especially since i was too spoiled by the art style of their later game broken sword.

I remember the old Sierra pinball games but not really any point and click. Sounds like a point and click borderlands kind of vibe?

I never played Borderlands :P By old Sierra I meant King's Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory etc - you click to move a character around a screen, pick up objects, talk with characters, and solve puzzles to move to the next screen/advance the plot. No/very little combat, as most things are based on creative solutions - for example, you see a medusa and instead of trying to fight her, you find a hand mirror and hold it up when she looks at you to turn her to stone.
