Probably because it's actually a good, non predatory company and the only outbound calls I make are returning calls, but still. Good to be helping people again

It's a good feeling isn't it? I worked in one a few months after college and going in I was nervous because I was like "ahhhh I don't wanna bother people" but it was super nice knowing that I wouldn't be bothering people, people would be calling me.

Was a super chill job. Didn't pay much but had a lot of fun.

I will be, not fully trained yet. I work for Consumer Cellular, a company that focuses on providing cheap and simple phones for seniors. So I get a lot of people that don't understand the technology lol

Yeah, the pay is the surprising part for me. $15 an hour, which is over the minimum wage, and regular raises and bonuses, including probably getting a $0.75 raise within just a few months.

Dealing with only old people? Sheesh, good luck, man. I did tech support for AT&T like 16 years ago. It really humbled me.

Yeah. It's not only old people, that's just our core target. It helps that our customers are usually chill because the company isn't shitty, I worked with but not for them a few years ago and have suggested them to tons of people since.
