It is a good game but when the rest of the series are some of the best platformers of all time, it looks bad in comparison.

Of course its good. Sure its worse than all the other 3D Marios, but the movement options are fantastic and the beach vacation setting is charming. I like that they tried something different.

It has its faults (blue coin stars, certain star attempts, use of Yoshi) but the setting is amazing, the music is fantastic, there's a freedom of movement that feels so good, and it's generally a fun game and addition to the franchise.

I was hesitant to vote bad because the game has good aspects. But overall I just really dont like playing it very much.

I enjoyed playing it but it's far too flawed and sometimes outright broken to be considered with the other 3D Marios.

If it's a choice between good or bad it's definitely bad. The game has far too many bad parts.

Definitely bad. Mostly because of the camera, but also because a lot of the missions are just not fun to play.

It's a weird crossroads where most of the missions are just outright not fun, almost all of the gimmicks outside of 'take away the jetpack' are bad, and progression is outright wonky, but Mario feels great to control, hubs and open areas are designed brilliantly to make the most out of Mario's movement, most of the platforming is solid, and FLUDD itself feels incredibly natural.
