didnt say you were poor...but you also work a TON of hours, including overtime and a second security job occasionally.

say what you will about what cops do and cops pay, but all the additional hours put in really drag down the overall value

I grew up poor. Ive never not had money since my first job. And I work a ton of hours because I like getting paid to watch concerts. I havent worked OT since March, just the 40 hours. And my department does not allow a second job.

and maybe, but retiring with a full pension at 45 will be nice, plus all the other benefits. I have about 600 PTO hours to use this year still and Ive taken every Friday off for the past two months
