Bungie essentially intended for Halo to end with Reach. As far as I'm concerned, it did.

Actually, I kind of liked Spartan Ops in theory, but it was implemented in the most dumbfuck way possible and pretty much everyone else shat on it so hard it kind of died, so it's still a strike against Halo 4. And the single-player campaign was pretty much ass in every way. The multiplayer was pretty good, but I generally hate multiplayer in all of its facets and permutations, so that's not a positive either. Still, there were parts of Halo 4 I wanted to like, even if I couldn't.

Halo 5 was a hot liquid fecal discharge, though.
