So while a bubble works very well for a playoff or tournament scenario, what about an entire season? The players didn't want to be in a bubble for a good reason. Being in a bubble for months would suck. So what happens when leagues like the NBA and NHL have to start again in October (or even if they delay the start of next season by a few months. I think the same thing about players option out. That's their choice, but what if things aren't back to normal for years? If a star player opts out for several seasons, are we sure that he would still be any good when he finally comes back? Players need to not do stupid stuff and leagues have to enforce this. Once leagues start having to run entire seasons rather than just playoffs, these are going to be necessary until things get back to normal. And we have no idea when that will be. Let any players from those teams who haven't tested positive temporarily sign with other teams for the rest of the season. Do all that and properly enforce it, and the players will get their shit together.
