At university. We were acquaintances for about a year, then got close for a month, and then bam.
We're coming up on almost 6 years (5 if you don't count the time we were "broken up" (but still best friends and sleeping together >_>) as our dating time). We are about a year and a half apart! --- I, Apherosy, Goddess of Love. https://imgur.com/YTIL81T ... Copied to Clipboard!

We met via "indirect grindr" Basically a friend of a friend of a friend, that I met while being in a social environment, with the twist that gay dudes tend to weave their social and sexual lives while in the company of other gay dudes, so at some point in the chain my now-bf was an internet-based-hookup-turned-friend.
We've been together a little less than two years, and recently go a place together. So there's a little bit of moving stress as we start to become a single household unit. Like, we don't need my 10 drinking glasses and his 10 drinking glasses, or my set of hammer/screwdrivers/wrenches/etc and his, so we're trying to be both thoughtful and objective about which pieces of furniture, kitchenware, etc to keep and which to give away/sell/store indefinitely. Thankfully the shower is big enough to allow for a "his and his" setup of our preferred soaps and shampoos and whatnot. I'm 9 years his elder. Prior relationship lasted about 5 years and my then-fiancee made a series of terrible and selfish choices. Was single for about a year and digested a bunch of shit and whored it up and eventually started dating and looking for something serious again, and then I met him :D. Lifewise we're both college grads, he's just more "young professional" and I'm "established industry bro" --- Remember that I won't rest, 'til we share the same tense Just know, to me, you're better late than never again. ... I am also 9 years older, but he moved from his parent house to live with me, so it was way less complicated than your situation. Oddly enough I also dated someone 9 years older than me and he was the most immature person I've ever met(and I consider myself pretty immature at times) --- Dragaux for smash! ... I met mine in a bar when we were both drunk af. It's not a story where it's supposed to last 2 years. It's weird when you think about it. But out of curiosity how do you deal with the generation gap? I am older than my boyfriend, but we have pretty similar interests. --- Dragaux for smash! ... Copied to Clipboard!

But out of curiosity how do you deal with the generation gap? I think it works well. We have similar core values on lot of important and deeper stuff. The other differences like hobbies, knowledge of music, history etc. is fun since we can always learn from each other and I feel it's an asset to have 2 different generatioins of experience. We have some similar interests as well. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
