Gulf of Mexico/southern US friends...stock up now! Get a few cases of water, and some non perishable food. If you lose power, do NOT open your fridge or freezer so you can try and salvage the food in there.
This is coming from someone who survived the Hurricane Harvey floods. I didnt take that one seriously, and only stocked up on beer and Topo Chico lolol. I was eating granola bars for like 4 days while I was trapped in my apt. Dont be dumb like I was.
