It ends with a write-up on CNN like that and reactions like in the OP, "oh he did it because he's a bigot, case closed". There's still no motive here? It can't be animus against the judge, the article lays out the entire background of their interaction. Surely he's got more bones to pick than with a judge who actually sided with him in a lawsuit? And if he really wanted to kill her, he would have followed through? Shitty guy does a shitty thing out of the blue, dies before we can get any answers, everyone moves on. It's just so damn convenient. Meanwhile on the other side of the conspiracy theory spectrum, he apparently worked in Russia for a few years and went to the same law schools as Barr. My science fiction idea involves a machine that can be hooked to the brains of the recently deceased and download all of the memories that were in their heads. It would likely fry the brain (which is why it couldn't be used on the living), but it would answer a lot of questions like, what the hell was this guy thinking?!
