Everyone, students of all ages included, will be required to wear face coverings. Staff will be supplied with face shields.

I'm responsible for keeping my classroom disinfected between each class period.

Social distancing will be practiced when possible.

are they going to at least give you the supplies to clean? and what about bathroom breaks? i think there were only a few minutes between classes so it's not like teachers would have a ton of time to do their business and also now have to clean an entire classroom on top of that

No kidding not only are they suppose to be capable of teaching 30 sometimes even 40 class sized rooms but also have a gun to stop school shooters, make sure the kids don't kill each other in their little fights but now they have to make sure they don't fucking die of a virus all with a very piece of shit salary and buying their own school supplies and dealing with highly emotional teenagers and bratty kids.

At this point I hardly care. We wouldn't have this issue if my state (wisconsin) had just shut the fuck up, stayed in their homes, wore masks when outside, and let things be for a few months.

But nooooooo, the GOP took it to court and Fuckwad in Chief is pressuring schools nationwide to reopen.

Don't take that as a personal insult, it's not directed at you. Any place forcing their staff to put themselves at risk is a shitty place.

Don't forget some of your fellow staff members may be apart of the "Fuck masks!" court of opinion and refuse to do it or distance their classes and then you have kids and teenagers who definitely aren't gonna do it and may even intentionally try to spread it to some teachers they dislike

I think the staff are all on the same page about it.

But this is redneck WI country, so kids are definitely going to come from homes that literally don't think the virus exists.
