I was going to come into this topic saying it's for the best and it doesn't need one, but now I'm just picturing Yotsuba being like a horse, and thus too difficult to animate.

Yotsuba&! (sic) is the current serial work of Kiyohiko Azuma, same guy who did Azumanga Daioh. It's the story of a precocious five-year-old girl as she moves to a new place with her dad and basically lives her little life. There's a cast of family and neighbors and friends and it's all really just about her getting involved in new experiences. If you have any joy in watching children learn things and grow and get into kid antics, it's absolutely for you.
And yes, 4chan picked her up as their "404 girl" for a time. She's named after a four-leaf clover and her green hair is styled in four pigtails. Oh, and Azuma was pretty clear some years back that it wouldn't be getting an anime. --- CyricZ ... Copied to Clipboard!
