*It's not really spicy, just a mild, warm taste that contrasts with the sweetness.

Saute pineapple in a little butter over high until juicy. Add celery salt, paprika, Tabasco sauce and cinnamon to taste. Reduce to medium for 3 minutes or so.

Dissolve some corn starch in white grape juice. Add to fruit and spice mix. Cook on medium or medium-high to desired thickness.

It could also be a chutney-like side for fish or pork.

Cheesecake is so chill and so down for anything. I love it in its pure form. Just wanted to try something I conceived that was an improved form of a rumor I heard in high school about jalapeno cheesecake.

That's neat! I've never had the pleasure. Is it a similar consistency? I prefer a thicker texture, like goat cheese, not particularly light.

The dish the kids were talking about in school was definitely a sweet cheesecake. I've never had one, but they were talking about finely chopped jalapeos throughout. In my adult life, I decided that might have taste drawbacks besides the "ew wat" reaction I had back then, but I still liked the mild spice angle.

If you decide to make it sometime, I used Old Bay, not just paprika and celery salt, but that's basically what the spice mix is if you can't find Old Bay.
