I dont talk about it too much here....

Well I dont talk about anything much here; I have one inconsistent posting pattern.

Anyway, I just adore this game. I was admittedly a fan even at launch, but it really is so much better now. I feel like if you have a strong interest in space, its the perfect game. Its been my go to relax game. I love seeing the new generated worlds, the synthwave music and the general art style of the game.

Random ramble over.

I didn't play it at launch, so I only had secondhand knowledge of how disappointing it was. The first time it was on sale for $25 on PS4, Nick, Wigs, and I thought we'd try it out. Nick in particular wasn't a fan, and Wigs thought it was OK, but I had a lot of fun with it.

Have you checked out Outer Wilds yet? If 2020 No Man's Sky tickles your fancy, I have to imagine Outer Wilds would blow your fucking mind.

Oh absolutely. Outer Wilds hit me on a much more emotional level and was more of a one shot experience for me. An absolutely amazing experience. Ive considered making that one of my next tattoos.

I really am determined to play this again at some point

Like DL all the updates and just spend some real time with it now that it's apparently good

I liked it. I played it well after release so it was pretty de-hyped for me. But I thought it was pretty fun and chill, exploring and coming up with dumb names for planets and taking screenshots of scenic places.

Did they ever expand inventory space? I remember what bothered me most was how little you could hold in a game that was all about exploration and had so many different things to collect.

They increased stack sizes, but you can increase your own inventory space relatively easily.

It's actually pretty funny I one of the few people who didn't buy into the hype. So when bought it I was having some fun with it and I really respect the developers for improving on it.

Still haven't done too much as it's one of those games with a huge time investment, but I'd like to someday

I put around 80 hours into it? I really enjoyed it but I'm not really motivated to go back right now. The one thing I really want to see the game get is more planet variety. Beaches, volcanoes, just more stuff in general.
