I asked if he knew his sources were right (as he dies mine) and was curious if Epoch times was actually reliable. I didnt know and know I'm curious.

I'm arguing that the falun gong promote a bunch of misinformation and dangerous shit on people that often has a barely tangential relation to china, including endangering children with antivax horseshit and fueling potentially violent fringe groups like Qanon by playing into their delusions

You seem to be arguing that that is excused because they faced persecution in the past and must now accomplish their goal without being blamed regardless of the method. That, or you think that condemning that is equal to believing Falun Gong members should have been persecuted, which no one ever said.

What I was saying in my second post is that criticizing the falun gong for being 'anti china' is completely ridiculous if you're aware of even a fraction of the historical context there.

If you think the epoch times isn't a super reliable source of news, and understand what the Chinese government did to the falun gong, then you're not disagreeing with anything I'm saying.

Met a group of Falon Gong practitioners once a few years back while visiting Philly. They gave me a bunch of literature about being persecuted in China. Didnt realize there was so much right-wing conspiracy crap going on with them, I thought they were just little old Chinese ladies who did a bunch of Tai Chi looking exercises.
