I know it was originally a PS3 game but my God the Switch version of MK11 looks better than the PS4 version of Injustice 1. The cutscene graphics are like 10 FPS.
And there really isnt an excuse for it since MK9 still looks great in 2020, and you would think a PS4 port of a PS3 game would be silky smooth. Thank God it was a free game, looks like ill just skip this one and play 2. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Only thing I can think of was that the first game had a limited budget since it was a new IP and proof of concept and then with Injustice 2 they were able to fully realize it.

I don't remember anything in the game being particularly awful looking, but then again, I played the game on the best platform as opposed to 7 year old hardware.

It was free on Steam recently and I picked it up. Phew, yeah, it's one of the ugliest fighters I've played. Even MK9 looks and runs better.
