I usually stop communicating with them. I think my personality is kind of strong now tho and I usually laugh/giggle in people's face when they say dumb shit. But I use so much self deprecating humor that they can't really do anything about it. Eventually they just start laughing it off too.

I basically laugh at everything too, so it doesn't seem as offensive or like Im attacking the person. It's just my personality.

My family has always been the type to say depressing or fucked up things about our life and then start giggling at each other. It makes it easier to vent when we know the other person isn't gonna shine a spotlight on you and your problems. A lot of introverts hate that shit.
