Theres so much that goes into being able to do the job well and get enjoyment out of it than just showing up and relaying information. The school Im in right now is VERY political. I got screwed out of a head coaching position solely because our local board member wanted to do favors for his buddies that have sons looking for their first gig, plus the principal wants to do favors for her friends as well. Unfortunately Im stuck because no one is retiring anywhere. But, she did what she had to do when she hired a 22 year old over me, that had been at the school for 8 years, to be the football coach. Im just waiting for the right job opening to skip out on them.
