I think its the opposite, black absorbs heat like no other color does. White reflects heat.

Desert robes prevent the heat of the clothing from reaching your skin by being loose enough for air flow to occur between the clothes and your skin.

Black robes would definitely absorb more heat from the Sun than white robes, but it might not be significant enough to notice if your robes are loose enough.

I'm not discounting the seriousness of both issues. It's terrible that people feel goalposted into a body type or damage from abuse.

The only people who do this are methheads about to rob a place so they need the jacket to hide the goods.

If the humidity is low, I can do that in all black and just feel kinda toasty.

High humidity though? Basically anything kills me. High 69-low 70 but high humidity? Dying in the most weather appropriate clothes. 100+ and low humidity is nothing to me.

Definitely not a meth head. I've seen what that shit does to people.
