Lazy Shell is pretty ridiculous even tho it's a secret item. The fact it also blocks status ailments and instant kills is pretty broken too >_>

It's fun, but there are far better games out there; the writing and atmosphere really do not make up for the basic gameplay.

I wanted to keep Bowser in my party for the remainder of the game after getting him, but I just couldn't justify passing up Peach. I would have had a really difficult time with Smithy and Culex if I didn't abuse the fuck out of her and all the other broken things in the game.

I do like both Paper Mario games slightly more, but SMRPG is basically on par. I liked seeing all the things it did that clearly influenced the Paper Mario series too, such as Monstro Town.
