agreed. i'm like 35 hours in and just got to the last (?) dojo. starting to drag a little. i feel way overpowered with the gold dusted rosaries. fun though

Yeah, I never once got a Game Over during my playthrough a decade-and-a-half ago, because healing items are plentiful and you can hold a ton of them.

But by far the worst part of the game were those segments where you had to memorize the exact order points of light appeared on that wall guy, and then paint them in that same order. And it was random every time, so there was no trial-and-error until you got through.

But yeah, it was a great game.

It's an epic, is the thing. It's a series of loosely connected stories in this mythos of the avatar of the sun god. The final fight and Issun contributing at the end how he does redeemed any small issues I'd had with the game and its pacing.
