I'm really good at making tacos/burritos and chili, but I'm fairly average at most other things. I just love spice.

I've never heard of that before, do you just mix the breadcrumbs into the pancake batter?

Roast lamb

I don't even know what I'm doing but I get the heat, salt, herbs exactly right every time. It pisses my wife off because she's an amazing cook and yet for some reason whenever I handle the lamb everyone raves about it.

I can cook and bake pretty much anything. But my specialties are probably ribeye and apple pie lol. I can pretty much cook any steak medium rare by instinct and especially can make a mean ribeye. I bake a lot of stuff but my family raves over my apple pie the most. I will specifically visit orchards in the fall for fresh specialty apples.

no, you mix the left over flour, eggs and bread crumbs together, then add whatever you think would be good, I add cheese or corn or baby spinach, then fry it in a pan... like a pan cake, my mom used to make them when I was a kid, I remember being at some kids house and the mom was cooking dinner and threw that stugff in the garbage, I told her what my mothers does with it and she gave me that look that I would get a lot in life.. I felt devistated, I went home and told my mother, she informed me that we were poor and to get use to that look

Do you make your own crusts? I love pie crusts, but they seem hard to make from scratch.

I used to make homemade pizza all the time, with sauce and crusts made from scratch. I mostly liked using Mediterranean ingredients and baking it as close to neapolitan style as I could with just a pizza stone. It was the easiest way to get all my friends over lol.

Now my best dish is Tikka Masala, with tofu or seitan.

cooking is still real work though & you can't mess up. Its why I'll give good luck to people attempting culinary school because I don't have the patience for that. :P

I love my crockpot for that reason. Takes a lot of the guesswork out of the equation.

I love Indian and Thai food. I make it myself every once in a while, but it just doesnt stand up to a good restaurant at all.

I'm good at everything but my absolute specialty is curry I've improvised so many of my own recipes for different curries... Hell, I was curious to try Japanese Curry, so I researched recipes, made my own, and it was really good, but I had no idea if it was correct. Then several months later I went to a place that serves it, and mine tasted just like it

Truth is thats most cooking grilling/broiling is harder just on the basis it requires you to pay attention. In a restraunt setting anyways
