Out on a trail run, on a mountain, completely alone for hours, I saw two women in their 50s and got off the trail

They said "well look at you young and invincible. Don't wear a mask for us old folks..."

In my state at least, you don't need a mask outdoors during exercise, just make an attempt to socially distance. Only really enforced indoors and in public gatherings.

I run without a mask every day, people around me run and bike and walk without a mask every day. Everyone keeps their distance.

I dont have anything against people not wearing masks outdoors as long as they practice distancing; like you said, you got off the trail.

My problem is with people who dont wear them indoors at stores, where its impossible to properly distance and also our breath lingers.
