i'm having a lot of fun, but this game is too big.
i'm right near where i was when i was close to 100%ing origins, but this has dozens of hours more still
i'm level 58 i'm just clearing location after location after location doing lots of quests
somehow have only killed 17 cultists and uncovered 4 more with how much i've cleared
finally got max rowing almost everything else is 2nd to last upgrade
i hope they improve the damn ship stuff in valhalla

i think the gameplay is a bit better in this than origins, and like the story (so far) more in origins and like the setting more as well.
I like bayek but i think kassandra beats him out

tried one of those mythical challenges but bailed because he had too much hp
it's like those awful fight the god challenges in origins i did the fucking anubis one and it took me like 40 minutes because he had a billion hp
it's absolutely fucking ridiculous how much hp this cyclops had
and i'm assuming all these assholes are like this

what a dumb fucking decision, who decided to just give them that much hp. Some of the regular enemies have too much as it is, but this is fucking ridiculous.

You're still quite early in the game then considering how fast you level up in the beginning.

i liked it but i thought the game was a little too grindy for a single player action game. then i found out ubisoft sells XP in their microtransaction store and it all started to make sense

The settings of origins and odyssey intrigue me, but man the gameplay sounds like its the worst open world grindfests ever made. Just cant bring myself to pull the trigger even for $12

Game was great but it was too damn long. 65 hours to beat and at the end I'm only looking for 3 things :

The cult, the mystical beasts, and the legendary animals. I did nothing but those and the main mission and called it a day.

By God do I wish we had more 25-30 hour direct games like last of us 2 instead of these 50+ open world epics like this, red dead, etc.

played stealth / warrior as Cassandra
only long quest i did was the hunter stuff. didnt care for the red/blue.
only did the stuff to weaken leadership for progression
i had issues with the uplay launcher throughout my play and i wanted this game out of my pc lmao

You dont have to do everything. I just did the ! Missions and story missions. Game was about 135ish hours with DLC.

I got burnt out trying to 100% the base game. All question marks n shit. I couldnt play the DLCs not matter how much i push myself too. I should have just bought the base game and save the extra money.

This and Origins were exhausting. Do main missions, get locked out because you're under leveled, do side quests to level up, go back to doing main missions, forget where the story is because you spent so much time doing side quests. It just drags on. Fuck these 100+ hour games.
