Looks are not preconceived stereotypes. Physical attraction is a personal preference.

Plenty of mixed race people that would unequivocally fit physical attraction preferences get shut out because of preconceived sterotypes of what a race "should" look like.

If you are talking about friendship that's right, but this is about sexuality. People have no obligation to have sexual attraction for anyone.

Yes it does. It's the difference between "I'm only interested in a sexual relationship with people of this race" and "I think my race is better and therefore I'm only interested in a sexual relationship with people of this race."

Those are two completely different reasons. The former is not racist, but the latter is. People overuse the word racist way too much lately. It's ridiculous.

The same goes for humor. A ridiculous caricature of a stereotype can be offensive, but that doesn't make it by default racist any more than Yosemite Sam is a dark stain on the history of humor mocking the Southern USA. The intent matters in that case.

For example, if the black chick chooses to go out with what looks like an incredibly sexy black man and is attracted to everything about him, but quickly learns both his parents are white and he has some rare skin condition that makes him look impossibly sexy to her, and she immediately dumps him for not having black heritage, like.... its within her rights but how is that reasoning not racist?

Its racist to think that people of X race cannot be attractive.

But acceptable not to date whom you dont want. Nobody is checking your dating history.
