Omfg I'm so full. This local shop does 2 types of curry plus rice, naan and kheer for only $14. I'm a basic bitch so I just got chicken tikka masala and chicken makhani and it was soooooo good like always

Yeah I could see availability being a problem. Also, there are many different types of curries culturally. Thai, Japanese, Indian, etc. All damn good from what I've tasted so far

Yeah. Don't go that far out of your way to get it. If the opportunity arises for a good restaurant, then I say take it. One of the foods I legit inhale cuz I can't get enough until I'm bloated

Definitely make it a priority to seek out a good Indian spot next time youre in the city - in the meantime, chicken tikka masala is a great entry level Indian dish & theres probably no shortage of recipes online. Also, if you want to try other cultures curries, Golden Curry is a great base for Japanese curry & it has instructions & recommended ingredients + portion sizes on the back:

Best vego dish i have ever tasted in my life was deep fried eggplant at a Thai joint around the corner from where I grew up. It was like angels had offered themselves up to be dipped in batter and fried until crispy. Except, vegetarian.

I went to Coco once in Irvine because of the hype. I got the number 5 spicy, the first spicy that you need to add a dollar because it's that spicy. It was fucking weird. I was sweating bullets but I wasn't like...freaking out from how spicy it was like I normally would. Never had that happen to me before lol

Just a heads up, Japanese curry is different from the usual Indian curry. It's more like a thickened beef stew in a way. The Indian Curry will probably be better tasting because of the variety of spices.

Yeah I've had Japanese curry before. With both chicken karaage and tonkotsu fried pork. Not at the same time of course lol
