I thought it was one of the best reccomender algorithm i have ever used. Some people hate it apparently, but their daily playlist and weekly discovery evem random one that plays if you search a song then let it build a playlist from searched song is pretty good.
I have found maybe 3 dozens of artists from mainstream to niche across different genre --- http://i.imgtc.com/iJyp6bF.png http://i.imgtc.com/ZBw36Qh.png Thanks for the peeps that made the pics <3 if i make typos it means i am on phone ... Copied to Clipboard!

I wish the recommended playlists were a little more broad. It feels like my playlists are almost entirely things that I directly turned on myself.

I hate it. It's far too narrow and is generally really awful at recognizing music similar to a certain song/artist (if I start a Wolf Parade playlist, I should not be hearing shit by Foster the People, for example). Also, after using it for a while every single station ended up being filled with the exact same songs.

The Daily Mix recommendations are decent though the algorithm for my Discover Weekly playlists is screwed, it keeps giving me songs which are nothing like anything I listen to frequently.

Trash when I compare it to how much I enjoyed Amazon. Daily Mixes is just shit I find by myself and my likes on shuffle. Goes from Master P to Pop Smoke to Frank Ocean? Fuck out of here.

Also I wish they had a consistent dislike button, not one that only occasionally shows up on some playlists and absent on others. And the "Do Not Play This Artist" seems to not work for me. Wish their like system was more fleshed out. I'd make it a thumbs up, thumbs down, and heart. Thumbs up and down is self explanatory, but also I like a hearted song a lot more than a thumbs up song.

My biggest gripe is that I sometimes like to fall asleep to a white noise playlist or similar. Spotify seems to think I want three daily playlists dedicated to sleep sounds. I also get quite a few weekly recommendations for songs that already show up in my daily playlists.
Also the "Discocovery Weekly" April Fools joke was very well played. --- I are Serious Cat This is serious thread ... Copied to Clipboard!
