Then it really depends in the job. I wouldnt hire a person for any job if they pissed hot for heroin or meth but pot users can probably do a lot of jobs fine.

Except if said drug user causes an accident, injury, etc. The employer, and employee, can be held liable if drugs are found in their system.

If companies were smart they would just use the cost of a single piss test and buy 10 spit drug tests to use randomly throughout the year. Spit tests are notoriously bad for catching marijuana but still do a great job on the harder stuff.
