Board 8 > My aunt's dog died while I was at her house.

Not my actual pet, but we all loved him. He played out in the yard all day, came in the house and died instantly in the living room.

Just surreal to see one minute playful and frolicking and then..... stillness. My aunt is a very emotional person to begin with, and loved and spoiled him rotten, so she was hysterical beyond belief. I did my best to console her while my mom was trying to resuscitate him.

RIP Scooby. Quirkiest dog ever.

Just out of nowhere? How old? My 18 yo chihuahua did the same thing back when I was in college.

SOunds like possibly heart attack or some kind of stroke/brain issue that was just instant.

That's unfortunate. I've lost a couple of pets over the years and it always hurts no matter what.

8. Was a morkie. Seemed like a heart attack to just stop immediately. No struggle or anything.

We all went inside from sitting out after a barbeque, my aunt asked where's Scooby, then discovered him just laying motionless on the carpet in the living room.
