I have a PS4 and currently playing though FF7 Remake. Trying to decide what to play next.

Last of Us is easily the better game and one of the best this gen. Death Stranding is hard to recommend because it's so super niche. I enjoyed it, but hated the story and disliked a portion of it. But if you get into the building up the world and making deliveries, you can really enjoy it.

So Last of Us 2 for sure.

Be a patient gamer and play something you either already have but havent played, or buy a game thats on sale that youve been wanting. PSN has a sale going on until the 7th

Haven't beaten TLoU2 yet, but it's been great.

Still, I doubt I'll like it as much as Death Stranding, and that also gave me over twice as many hours of playtime.

Basically, do you want to buy GOTY2019 or GOTY2020?

The Last of Us Part II, IMO.

I played about 10-15 hours of Death Stranding, and I feel that it's difficult to recommend to someone unless if they're looking for something "different".

there's some combat, but most of the gameplay is about delivering cargo, finding the best routes, helping others/being helped along the journey, and so on.

I personally didn't like what I played - it's a good looking game with a great soundtrack, but I don't like the gameplay, especially the combat. and people are blowing up your codec all the time.

TLoU2, on the other hand, has been an amazing experience throughout, IMO.

if you played the original, you have some idea of how the sequel plays, but there are some improvements/additions that make the gameplay really engaging.
