The poll results are a joke, its just bitterness & nostalgia goggles. The sequel films being bad doesnt make the prequels any better. The prequels fail the basic fundamentals of being competent films. My god 1 & 2 are boring as f***.

At least the PT had the world-building going for it. They did a pretty good job of it, imo. Like it or not, they're responsible for making the saga what it is now. They were cheesy and the characters were weak most of the time but i remember 3 at least being peak cinema when it came out.

They had more or less a clear goal in mind, which helped. ST was just directionless cookie cutter Disney crap.

This is what I liked the most in the PT overall.

The whole galaxy felt like a galaxy instead of earth set pieces
