I can't see anyway where you're the good guy not healing your team playing as a healer. If you want to DPS then choose a DPS class. Why pick a healer and not heal? If it's to troll then be prepared to be reported and possibly not be able to play for days.

I mean yeah, as you should be. I havent played many of these types of games but the idea of filling a support role does appeal to me. In Battlefield I usually play Support or Medic, although obviously thata different because you can still fight enemies effectively with those classes while also supplying ammo/healing.

Healers are great for solo runs.

Often its just DPS doing dumb shit and expecting that healers can heal through their dumb. If I see a DPS just standing around in bad, then I dont heal them.

I love Overwatch and we have healers out here like Moira that don't heal, go into the enemy back line and DPS the enemy as they get gunned down

It really helps to know what game you are talking about. I can see it being annoying if someone uses a stat sheet with abilities meant for healing in the wrong way being annoying. Especially if they are taking the role of an actual dedicated healer.

However, if it's like WoW, where classes have multiple roles like DPS and Healer that they can spec for there is nothing wrong with playing a dps spec.

In FF14, I also don't really mind. That game is pretty casual except at the most high end current raid content.
It really depends on the game.

Lol flanking Moiras, they always go Wheres my team?! after they die too. Least when Zen was relevant he was actually a GOOD DPS/Healer hybrid to get picks and stick with said team.

That's a good point. Some people ruin a healers experience by feeling entitled to all of their attention

In wow at least healers are expected to do as much dmg as possible every global they are forced to not heal. At least for hard stuff

It really annoys me on Apex when people play Lifeline and never take advantage of her healthdrone or even her care package ability, x.x . There's no point in using a character that you won't use the skills of.
