Many, including Malcolm X's family, have accused Farrakhan of being involved in the plot to assassinate Malcolm X. For many years, Betty Shabazz, the widow of Malcolm X, harbored resentment toward the Nation of Islamand Farrakhan in particularfor what she felt was their role in the assassination of her husband.[68] In a 1993 speech, Farrakhan seemed to confirm that the Nation of Islam was responsible for the assassination:

And a nation gotta be able to deal with traitors and cutthroats and turncoats. The white man deals with his. The Jews deal with theirs."

During a 1994 interview, Gabe Pressman asked Shabazz whether Farrakhan "had anything to do" with Malcolm X's death. She replied: "Of course, yes. Nobody kept it a secret. It was a badge of honor. Everybody talked about it, yes."

Farrakhan decided Malcolm X was a traitor to the black nation and decided he had to go? Jesus Christ. And this guy is still a leader in the black community?

There's more than enough evidence that shows he had nothing to do with it, he want even a high ranking member at that time. Even Malcolm's own family knows he had nothing to do it

We as a people have looked past the flaws of this US Government for all these years even when they've never apologized or atoned for any of their faults or mistreatment of our people for all of these years.

However when it comes to our leaders, the enemy is always looking for the worst in them or some reason to turn our people against them. This has been done with all of our leaders and organizations. Let's be honest, anti-semitism is burried and justified on the left if it is by the Nation of Islam or black people. They are too scared to be called racist. You think Ice Cube would even have a career if he was white? He was literally held up as a moral authority on policing of speech with the Bill Maher joke, even though he has songs that are just non-ironic vicious attacks on Jews.

I believe its possible and even likely that intelligence agencies were involved but there are good reasons for why Malcolm denounced the Nation of Islam. I think the organization has changed significantly since that time, but the animosity its leadership had for Malcolm X at the time makes me think they may have had a hand in his assassination as well. Or, at least, some of their members.

Anyway, the Nation of Gods and Earths (an offshoot of the NOI) is cooler.

Farrakhan believes in Dianetics because he feels it can be used to uncover and heal deep seated hurt feelings and emotions in ones mind.

Yeah, that's what doesn't square with the "CIA did it, Farrakhan had nothing to do with it!" angle. If he didn't do it, why did he eagerly create the impression that the NoI had something to do with it? Did he do it, or is he just a patsy for the CIA?

Farrakhan was outraged. He called Malcolm X a traitor and wrote, two months before the killing, that "such a man is worthy of death."

The Honorable Elijah Muhammads youngest wives were in their 20s. Tynetta Muhammad was 23 at the time Malcolm had made his statement and had her first son at that age. Malcolm was possibly told misinformation or misinterpreted what was told to him when he made that statement.

Actually her youngest son is a Minister in the Nation and leads the weekend national sermons. He cared for all of his children and Islam itself permits one to have multiple wives and the Prophets and Messengers of the book all had multiple wives and were actually given the task of taking multiple wives and having children to produce nation's.

As far as Farrakhans words on Malcolm, he was always upfront with saying his incendiary words may have helped create the atmosphere of hate that allowed enemies of Malcolm X to assassinate him. He was upfront about it and apologized for it and said he from it but that doesn't mean he killed Malcolm X like this topic title says. That's a blatant lie and misrepresentation of his words. Many people were upset with Malcolm back then because they felt that he had betrayed his teacher spreading falsehood about him and the entire movement in the white media who had always been an enemy to any form of Black progress or Black Empowerment movements. Cointelpro worked skillfully at dividing Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam. Sending falsified letters and all sorts of othert tactics.

Also if he was involved in any sort of thing like that, knowing the way he talks about this government and even him working with people who are considered persona non grata like Muammar Ghadaffi, there is no doubt the FBI and CIA would have attempted to arrest him long time ago. The accusation is silly

As far as the Hayer affidavits. They actually exonerate two NOI members who were falsely arrested and served time for the murder even though they were nowhere around or involved with the crime. His confession lists the other individuals who worked as assets for various government agencies and Ilyasah Shabazz confirms this in the video I posted above. All in all stop spreading rumors

The enemies of Farrakhan and our people are intentionally trying to create an atmosphere of hate around Farrakhan similar to how one was fostered around Malcolm X. A lot people just spread rumors and lies because they don't like the man and because he takes uncompromising stances on the evil that's taking place in world governments and the evil being done towards Black people specifically
