In my left ear. It's been ringing for about a week, no let down, and I mostly notice it when laying in bed on my left side, so the ear is enclosed by pillow.

I get it sometimes from reflux. Its annoying but quite easy to ignore or cope with the majority of the time. It usually only really bothers me when I have a bad headache.

i've had it since i was a kid and a shit doctor popped one of my ear drums. best suggestion i have is to turn the tv or radio on when you go to sleep, helps drown out the ringing noise.

Welcome to my world. Sucks that it's in your left ear, it mostly becomes louder when you stop hearing anything else, e.g. only the ringing is present, and that's bound to happen more if your hearing is impaired in any way (such as when you physically block your left ear with the pillow)

I've had it for about a decade. I sleep with a fan on, but other than that it's ok. During the day there is enough background noise that I can forget about it.
It definitely gets worse with alcohol and caffeine, so if you drink a lot I would suggest cutting back. --- Can you say David Hasselhoff? ... Copied to Clipboard!
