It might even be worse, to be self aware about your racism and still do nothing to curve your behavior.
Cause I actually agree with the sentiment that you can't hold someone's thoughts against them if they're not being put into action. But if you have a platform you know people come to you for outlook, you are putting that racism into action. If he said this in an off camera discussion, it would be different. Also, you have to actively be fighting against these negative thoughts if you want to go that route. You can't just say "I know Im wrong for it, but Im just gonna keep doing it.
