I'm just not sure what's really good to overcome all his sacrificing.

We are on tabletop, and don't really care much about rules, so...all cards are good to go from..whenever.

I mean, this deck can't beat Rest in Peace/Leyline of the Void very easily. If you want to just counter him outright.

But really you could just play a faster deck, especially one that doesn't win with creatures. Like a spellslinger type deck.

Edit: Or an artifact combo deck, of which there are many.

Working off that, I swapped out Phyrexian Arena for Leyline of the Void.

and yes. we're all (as in all 4 of my other brothers) looking to counter him in particular. >_>

Effects like Curse of Death's Hold, Illness in the ranks, Night of Souls' Betrayal and Plague Engineer also look like they'd be very effective.

I am philosophically against running maindeck "hoser" cards (e.g. Leyline of the Void) in casual games just because you are targeting one guy in your play group specifically.

...Oh wait it's Commander. Never mind, Leyline is perfectly valid in that format.
