Current Events > I've met a bunch of 'Covid Conspiracy' people but this one guy today....jesus.

Sees me working, comes right up to me and the first thing he says -

'You know, black people used to wear masks in the old days because it meant they were submissive.'

Then he launches into Covid is BS because 'he's had a runny nose or two in the past month' and 'he's fine.'

Then he goes into how Democrats are evil because they 'kill children' and they do this a lot (rocker finger horns with thumb sticking out on both hands). According to him the 6 fingers sticking out means 666 and it means Democrats worship the devil.

Then he goes into how China is controlling us all and they're behind EVERYTHING and they're tracking us right now etc.

This is about a ten minute conversation while im just 'uh huh'ing while trying to work at the same time. Im biting my tongue hard this entire time because i know arguing with a complete imbecile is practically impossible, they just wont get it.

This is a Canadian btw, like me. Yes these people are in abundance up here too.

And also ive run into like ten more of these people and they all uniquely share something on common - they're all crotchety old white guys.

Tl;dr - Some people are astonishingly stupid and its a wonder how they function in life.

Everything else he says is bullshit, but rock horns are or at least were meant to represent devil horns. Saying Democrats worship Satan is ridiculous though.

Same reason these guys show up to lockdown protests with "Trump 2020 KAGA" signs. Not that the border is closed so they don't come here from the US to take part.

Happened to me in line at the DMV. A lot of them just seem like undiagnosed schizos who socially isolate themselves because of their condition, and just want to talk with anyone. Guy came up and started telling me about chemtrails and how the government controls the weather. Harmless enough, cause he was like half my size, but he seemed elated just because I engaged him. Poor guy.
