37 y/o Actress, Alison Brie posted on instagram her REGRET for voicing an asian character by the name of Diane Nguyen, a Vietnamese american writer on Netflix's BoJack Horseman!!

She said "We missed a great opportunity to represent vietnamese-american community accurately and respectfully"

Her decision follows other actors and actresses who are stepping down voicing animated People of Colour roles including Mike Henry on Family Guy, Central Park's Kristen Bell and Big Mouth's Jenny Slate

The Simpsons yesterday said that they will no longer hire white actors for non-white characters. Hank Azaria has been the voice of Black character Carlton Carlson and Kwik-E-Mart favourite Apu for decades that has long been criticized for stereotypical depiction of an Immigrant Immigrant.
