The heat and humidity X 1000. Especially when my job requires working in attics or places with no power.

I'm very sensitive to heat so summer is hell for me. I have more nightmares, my body aches all the time, makes my headaches worse and I have more focal seizures than usual.

First one.

Mowing my huge yard is actually quite therapeutic for me. Granted, installing a sun roof on my tractor mower helps, but I even like edging my long ass driveways.

It's the heat that bothers me, and I always put on bug repellant when I'm outside for a while anyway.

Dont really mind the heat. I'll take it over cold weather anytime. But cutting the grass is a drag. Its every week for me. It grows that fast.

It all sucks, but the main reason it all sucks is because of the heat and humidity. I'd be fine cutting the grass in weather that's 60 degrees with a light breeze.

I left out something else about summer.

It's primetime for pop up severe thunderstorms that pack a wallop and dump a lot of water in just minutes.

Then that just makes the grass grow faster.

Having to cut the grass every other week

lol you think that's bad try living in alaska in the summer. my parents yard has to be cut like 2 or sometimes or even 3 times a week in the summer. and they often make me come over and do it for them. the summer sun beats down on the grass almost 24 hours a day and so it grows and grows and grows

Fleas.My neighbors have outdoor pets so last summer and now I have to put diatomaceous earth out to keep the fleas at bay.Gave my indoor cat his second dose of flea meds yesterday.Their still trying to come in....humidity sucks but I can handle that.

Bug bites, summer and spring are much better then winter the worst season or autumn.

I have to add how much I love waking up at 5am and seeing the sun coming up and the long evenings.Winter time I get to work during darkness and home at darkness.Uhgg

I mean, those things suck but they fade far in the backround for me and Im not battling seasonal depression. Also, my neighbors cut my grass.

It really is. I legit hate Summer. Bugs every damn where, and the heat/humidity is fucking abysmal. I can't wait til Fall.

I nearly got blinded in one eye today cutting the damn yard.

A pebble bounced up and came within a half inch of my right eye.

Damn it hurt! So just imagine had it gone into my eye.

Never go without safety glasses when cutting the yard.
