Where is the conflict in values between members of the community protesting in good faith? I'm saying we want EVERYONE to feel safe and proud to freely express their sexuality. You are saying that an expression of sexuality is only valid on the condition that it's both gay and faces scrutiny from outside the community. That is disgusting, offensive, and hateful.

My bad, I was wrong. The way Reis & Vy talk is normal and not belligerant despite sounding that way on the surface.

Doesn't change how my interactions with Reis has been historically.

Nothing has changed in that regard with Reis or Tmaster.

They've been nothing but hostile.

There are plenty of us who like being part of the US, you traitors who want to force a secession of CA into a independent country are doing it without the consent of it's citizens / residents.

You don't get to "Confiscate Land", "Occupy it, and say we're a new country", without getting into a bloody war.

History has shown that everytime that happens, war will happen.

If you don't like the US, leave the country, go elsewhere.

Explaining why what you said is wrong is not any kind of allegation, although based on the content of your speech I have no choice but to question your character and intentions in posting this stuff. If you can't back up what you're saying beyond restating it over and over, it's time to give more thought to why you feel that way.

We belong to the same community and you're an extremely flawed ally, but we need every ally we can get so I still accept you. I just wish you would take some time out and grow to love all the members of your community regardless of whether they've faced your standard of persecution or not. I also plead with you to give some thought to why you would want to push out people who are fighting for you as well.

I didn't read this topic but I am vaguely bi and due to how weird some LGBT communities get I never have really thought of being apart of it. Guess I don't come off as anything different from a straight guy when I ain't getting any either way :^)

I took ASL in college and there was this small subset that thought cochlear implants were a form of cultural genocide. But honestly every community in America has loud radical vocal minority opinions. That's just how it goes there.

Fair enough, though how do you smell a car coming? I admit that's as much visual, but you can't look everywhere at once. But then, I've got a perspective of someone who can hear.

Either way, me personally, if I'm struck dead, I think I'd get the implant.

youll feel that. Its not like people without sight or hearing have super feeling, our other senses arent more powerful, but we are, I think, more in tune with that aspect of our body. When something big like a car is coming you can certainly feel the vibrations from the floor and if its close, itll be in the air.

I get that. Im actually surprised that some hearing people dont get it when they lose their hearing as it seems like people in general dont like change. I know I would never get the implant because hearing just sounds stressful and confusing imo.

I wont lie Ive been curious about singing, and a couple other things that have been mentioned to me. But not enough to try to make sense of hearing them
