xMythic 06/27/20 2:24:15 AM #1:	It's been prowling around my yard and the surrounding woods for the past 3-4 hours. I've scared it off about 10 times but it keeps coming back. It's annoyingly persistent lol. The image quality is terrible. I took the photos with my dslr and a 200mm lens. My battery was low and the autofocus was barely working. But it's crazy you live somewhere where a bear can just wander into your yard. I live in rural Minnesota, they're pretty common here. This is the first time in a couple years one has been so active in my yard though. I haven't had one so comfortable around pets and humans, it is a bit concerning. I've never seen more stars in the sky at night in my life, and it so damn quiet and peaceful. Everyone is friendly, although kind of stuck in the past. I see maybe 5 cars a day on my road. There's a legitimate community, I grow vegetables and raise chickens, I trade livestock, eggs, and produce for beef, venison, even fur jackets and tools. Everyone kind of does their own thing and helps each other. But internet sucks, phone signal exists half the time, closest Walmart is nearly 25 miles. There's no such thing as delivery food or uber. There's a lot of venomous snakes, bobcats, cougars, coyotes, wolves, centipedes, venomous spiders, and rarely bears. Local stores are frequently out of stock on everything. Food costs are pretty high. Trees fall a lot and tornados are uncommon but they definitely do happen. There are moonshiners, and as a result, trespassers and you run into drunk guys running booze a couple times a year and they can be confrontational.
