mario kart, super smash bros, mario party are all safe bets.
goldeneye was great as a kid but they'll hate the controls. perfect dark is the same issue. diddy kong racing is amazing. for a system with 4 controller ports i really can't think of many great multiplayer games on it. most were single player. donkey kong 64 did have a battle mode but that's something you'll probably play once or twice and that's it. ...
