sharp cheese isn't even really that sharp. what we call sharp cheddar in the US is still mild compared to traditional English Aged Cheddar. you sound like my dad, TC. he has such an unrefined cheese taste. sometimes I go with my parents to cost co cause they have a membership but I don't. and I will sometimes get cheese from the UK. and he usually doesn't even want to try it. the few times I get him to, he isn't that impressed. he likes just eating bland boring standard american cheddar. I don't get it.
