It has its ups-and-downs, but as long as you focus on just beating the game, youll have some fun.

If you play it on emulator there's a patch that lets you switch kongs by pressing a button.

Yeah, the core gameplay loop is pretty fun. I played using a digital copy of the guide to collect everything, which makes it a lot less tedious. The sheer amount of stuff to collect makes random exploration just too damn annoying.
