(I'm bored so why not.)

So my sister got me an assortment of 15 size 8 double flare plug pairs for my birthday. But it seems like at least one pair is actually size 6. They looked like the same size, but they gave me a little trouble and feeling them they feel bigger too.

I'm guessing it has to do with the color? Do dark gauges actually look smaller? Or was the poor lighting in the room and/or my assumption they were all the same size (and tbf there's not a huge difference between 8 and 6) the culprit?

I almost suspect that outside of the ear they do look smaller, and that's how they ended up in the batch. But idk.

I'm suspicious of the other two dark pairs I have now. I just wanted to wear my black glitter ones.
