All I'm saying is that the situation isn't nearly as dire as everyone says it is

Deaths have only gone down and down as the weeks pass by, all this happened as the number of cases kept plateauing. Just because the number of cases is slightly going up in the last few days doesn't mean that there's going to be a huge wave of deaths all across the country, especially since it's mostly younger people who are getting it this time

Stop with the fear mongering dude

There was also an article from a week or two ago about how a cheap, commonly used steroid with like 12 generic brands cuts the death rate among people who need oxygen and/or ventilators by like half.

For one, ICU beds are filling up, and reaching overflow in some places. There absolutely is going to be a wave of way increased deaths from what weve been seeing.

also lol at slightly going up, states are literally breaking their record for daily cases AND positive test percentage and hospitalizations on a daily basis and have been doing so for a week

That's because New York City finally got it under control. Take NYC out of the picture and we are doing worse now than we were then. You can't really compare the time when NYC peaked to now because no city is like NYC, the density and how much it relies on public transportation, you need to disregard that when we talk about the country as a whole. And even if you don't the states that are the new hot spots, their deaths are going up and some like Arizona, it's happening significantly, and that's before hospitals are out of space. That's what kills most people, when hospitals can't give each patient the care they need.
